Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah has ordered the release of Rs1.13 billion for widening of the Hawkesbay Road.

Director General Lyari Development Authority (LDA), Agha Maqsood Abbas has revealed this while chairing a meeting at his office on Thursday.

Abbas said that the eight kilometre long Hawkesbay Road widening work would start soon and it would be widened up to 300 feet.

The current 48 feet wide road would be widened up to 96 feet (48 feet wide at each side of the road) and trees would be planted on 30 feet wide area of the road besides installing electric poles on it.
