FollowGCL-Poly Energy Holdings Ltd. (Hong Kong, China) announced that it has signed an agreement to supply Realforce Power Company Ltd. (Jining, China) with 4.2 GW of silicon wafer products over the next six years.
GCL-Poly will supply the wafers from July 2011 to December 2016, and a price adjustment mechanism has been included in the contract.

“GCL-Poly will continue to deepen the cooperation with our strategic and cooperative partners. We will faithfully fulfill our supply agreement and support our partner to obtain a favorable position in market competition so that it is a win-win situation for both of us ultimately.”
GCL-Poly to build R&D center in China
The announcement of this contract, one of the largest in the PV industry, follows shortly after GCL-Poly’s July 29th, 2011, announcement that the company had laid the foundation for a solar photovoltaic (PV) research and development (R&D) facility in Suzhou, China.
The facility will focus on polysilicon, silicon wafers, PV equipment and related products.
