In the first half of 2011 Scheuten Solar (Venlo, the Netherlands) realized almost 20 megawatts (MW) of large-scale PV projects, the company announces. Project sizes varied from 300kWp up to 2MWp. The majority comprised PV systems on industrial roofs based on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) and an O&M (Operation & Maintenance) contract. In addition to these, several free-field systems were implemented.

Track record resulting in repeat business for European turnkey projects

“In recent years our team in Europe have implemented a good number of large-scale projects,” says Lucy van Keulen, Director Project Realization at Scheuten Solar.

“As primary contractor we are engaged in the thinking process together with our partners as early as the preliminary stages of a project, and we coordinate the entire process of implementation up to and including completion. Thanks to the high quality of the solar panels installed, our projects produce an exceptionally good performance ratio. This adds to our great track record, resulting in us generating plenty of repeat business for turnkey projects in the European market. This paved the way for the successful first half of this year.”
