But if you need more detail, this infographic from Problogger provides evidence for both sides of the argument, but ultimately comes to the same conclusion. Namely, Twitter isn’t a waste of time… as long as you’re not doing it wrong.

 

There are few mistakes in the data. For example, Steve Jobs isn’t on Twitter, so I’m  not sure exactly how he could have been phished. I think it might be referring to the @stevejobsCEO parody account that Twitter suspended and then resurrected as @falseSteveJobs. That said, ‘phishing’ is not and never will be the same as ‘attacking celebrities‘. But that aside, this is a nicely put-together image with some valuable information.
